Kimberlin's Water Taxi is committed to the safety of our employees, our clients, and the environment through the formation and implementation of procedures and training.
We strive to maintain the highest level of performance in the marine industry, specifically in transition zone, shallow water operations.
All employees attend yearly training in oil spill response, including marine, near-shore, and land based operations. Health and safety training also includes HAZWOPER, Cold Water Survival, and first aid/CPR.
Captains and crew participate in monthly on vessel safety procedures and in USCG mandated training and drills. All vessels are equipped with full safety navigation and communication packages.
All employees are in compliance with the DOT random drug and alcohol screening program. Although not required, our vessels are equipped with secondary bilge water filtration systems as a back- up, to help protect our marine environment.
We have four landing crafts working in and out of Valdez. As an Alaska company, owned and operated by Alaskans, we are especially committed to the protection and preservation of our environment, and practice good stewardship of our resources.
